Another Great Year for Alli
Alli (JC Allied Invasion) retired from racing in October 2021. Along with his human BFF, Claire, Alli has had many adventures and learning experiences. Keep reading for the newest update from Claire.
Allī and I are just having so much fun. He is such a talented animal. In May 2024, we attended a horsemanship clinic with Cliff Schadt, Jr. I highly recommend Cliff to anyone who wants to deepen their partnership with their horse. Allī and I were transformed by the experience, while meeting some awesome people too!
Allī and I have also had a great time at our new farm, Belles Farm in Jackson, New Jersey. We made the move in June so Allī could have night turnout and be closer to my home. As it turned out, he had a blast with living outside from June until mid-December. The best part? He made some new bovine friends with the neighbors’ herd. Many times he would be laying down napping with a bull on the other side of the fence mirroring him.
We are just having a blast riding with our fellow boarders. Belles Farm has an amazing group of boarders who support and encourage each other. Of course, none of this fun would have been possible without the hard work and commitment of Emily Wolek, whose devotion last winter and spring set us up for success.
While Emily is tied up with her current work schedule, Yvonne Abel has been helping us continue to learn and grow. And grown he has! I had to buy all new blankets this winter because he has developed more muscle. I just can’t wait to see where this phenomenal horse will take me next! I’m so grateful for all the people he has brought into my life!
